6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Google Maps Platform — for mapping, geocoding, and route optimization.
- Twilio / SendGrid — for SMS and email communications.
- Stripe — for payment processing and subscription management.
Your use of third-party integrations is subject to those providers' respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
7. SMS and Text Messaging
The Service includes the ability for Organizations to send transactional SMS text messages to their customers via Twilio. By using the SMS features of the Service, you agree to the following:
7.1 Consent
Organizations are responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before sending text messages through the Service. By adding a customer's phone number and initiating text messages, the Organization represents that it has obtained the customer's consent to receive such messages.
7.2 Message Types and Frequency
Messages sent through the Service are limited to transactional notifications related to service appointments, including confirmations, reminders, completion notices, rescheduling alerts, and payment reminders. Message frequency varies based on the customer's service schedule.
7.3 Opt-Out
Recipients may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Organizations must honor all opt-out requests. For help, recipients may reply HELP to any message.
7.4 Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging fees from your mobile carrier may apply. Koobu does not charge recipients for text messages.
7.5 Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message availability and delivery are subject to your mobile carrier's network.
7.6 Koobu Security Code Texts
Separately from Organization messages, Koobu itself texts one-time security codes to employees of Organizations, from (321) 655-2341. A code is sent only when it is asked for: when the employee taps Text me a setup code on their company's shared device, or when an administrator taps Add & Text Setup Code with the employee's agreement. Koobu also sends one security notice when the phone number used for these codes changes. Message frequency: one text per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. These texts are never marketing. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Details: Security Code Texts.
8. Data Handling
We take reasonable measures to protect Customer Data. Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents from your customers before collecting or processing their personal information through the Service.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain Customer Data for a reasonable period to allow for data export, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.
